Terra Andina

From the magnificence of the Andes to the cool waters of the Pacific, Terra Andina uses modern and innovative winemaking skill to craft premium wines.

Acquired in 2001 by the Claro wine group, Terra Andina is an innovator within the Chilean wine industry. By blending grapes from different valleys with different micro-climates and soil conditions, Terra Andina takes full advantage of the richness and diversity of Chile’s different wine growing regions. A contemporary, fresh and innovative winery free of taboos, Terra Andina is focused on making quality wines that capture the full potential of Chilean viticulture.

Maison Albert Bichot

The house of Albert Bichot was established in 1831 by Bernard Bichot (1750-1850), great-grandson of Bénigne Bichot, Lord of Corbeton and councillor to the King, descendant of an old Burgundian parliamentary family.

We are close to the organic agricultural philosophy. Our aim is simple : enhance the diversity of our terrains with respect for the environment.

A policy of tillage so as to avoid systematic use of weed killers. Control of treatments, used only when really necessary. Mastery of yields from our wines via a choice of stock, keeping up a high density of plantation thus provoking a root system which better reveals the « terroirs », minimal fertilization using organic compost, drastic pruning, debudding and green harvesting if necessary.

When putting this into practice, the quest for balance is our constant :
Balance of the terroir. Balance of the plant. Balance of human intervention with observation and reasoning case by case preferred to systematic methods.

Klinker Brick Winery

Steve and Lori Felten, fifth generation grape growers in the Lodi region, continue the tradition of cultivating “Old Vine” Zinfandel vineyards that their ancestors planted in the early 1900’s.

Klinker Bricks are highly prized bricks that grace many of the historical buildings in Lodi. “Klinker” refers to the sound that they would make when banged together, because of their increased weight. Rich, deep color, enormous density, unique and distinctive are the same qualities found in our old vine Zinfandel. And, we hope it is a name that you are not likely to forget.
